Concierge Strategy & Operations Manager

Oscar Health Insurance Arizona, LA
What is the Position?

As Concierge Ops Leverager you'll serve as the right hand to our Sr Director of Concierge Ops. You will enable the Concierge Ops team to run as effectively as possible, focusing on improving operational efficiency, designing workflows, streamlining communications and information sharing, and coordinating between Concierge and the rest of the company. You'll exhibit ruthless prioritization and run a tight ship focusing on the right things and making sure they're executed on.

On a daily basis, you will be:

* Ensuring management is operating efficiently and effectively (quarterly vitals process, organizational workflows, owning meeting agendas)

* Ensuring departments are operating efficiently by auditing key business processes, developing an understanding of key risks / problems at both the people and organizational level, and analyzing business metrics. If metrics aren't in place, you'll help set them.

* Driving key management initiatives. You'll both lead and project manage teams to design, recommend and implement solutions/best practices.

Must-have qualities include:

* Independence and scrappy attitude. You're a problem solver with a 'get sh*t done' mentality. You are able to run with a task or problem without hand holding.

* Leadership skills. People naturally navigate towards you. You own a room and are able to direct people with confidence. You're comfortable pushing back where appropriate, both to your peers and leadership.

* Organizational and prioritization skills. You know what to prioritize and when. You naturally project manage, hold people accountable, and never let balls drop. You keep people on track to get the most mission-critical things done.

* Strong at synthesizing information. You can distill easy-to-understand takeaways and next steps. You're able to diagnose problems, see patterns, and come up with targeted solutions.

* Collaborative. You love working with lots of different kinds of people and are a relationship builder at heart. You solve problems with others and easily see others strengths and how they can be leveraged.

* A good communicator. You cut through communication and know how to read a room. You present findings in a concise manner, and clearly communicate action items and next steps. You excel at 'managing up' and across and give and receive feedback quickly.

We think it will make a big (positive) difference if you have...

* 5+ years of work experience - preferably at a startup or in management consulting

* Experience putting together project plans and driving a team with different skills to produce tangible results.

* A willingness to master the detail but also zoom out to understand the big picture.

* Experience with Excel.

Above all, be thoughtful, humble and empathetic: Our team is passionate about delivering a simple and friendly healthcare experience. It's critical that you are able to put yourself in our members' shoes and solve problems with a 'member first' attitude.
