Local Unit & Position Description
The project portfolio of our Energy Technology team is a mix of technologies and service development, regarding future energy systems and market developments needed to realize our ambitions. This concerns work for clients and groups of clients demonstration and testing of existing and new, innovative energy technologies (both in the lab and in the field), consultancy on these technologies, combined with market and regulatory modeling and consultancy services.
At this moment one of the team’s focus points is projects in the Defense and Security sector exciting topics like energy storage, integration of renewable energy sources, Electric Vehicles and innovative power technologies.
As Junior/Medior Consultant - Energy Technology you will be based at our office in Arnhem, the Netherlands and work for clients in the Netherlands and would predominantly start working for our customers in the Netherlands Defense and Security sector.

An overview of main tasks & responsibilities:
- You will be executing projects as technical expert with the opportunities to be or become a Project Leader.
- You will work on projects in the areas of future electrical systems and power sources, future energy systems for a variety of applications, involving knowledge area’s such as electrical systems, energy storage, power electronics, novel power sources, etc. and from that develop further as a consultant in the team.
- Identify new opportunities, develop our existing services and establish new services for both the team and our company.
- Also position our team for further growth.
What we're asking for
Education : Higher Vocational Education level(Completed) / Bachelor of Science / Master of Science - in either Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering.
Experience : 0 to 5 years of work experience in the energy industry, would be preferable.
Skills : You have good networking capabilities along with Ad hoc problem solving skill.
Language : Fluent Dutch and English (Both written and verbal) is a must have.
Empathetic & Ambitious : You are a team player, have an extrovert personality and you are aware of your self-development.
Passionate : A good sense of Business Development in combination with Professional expertise to perform with project management and business development.
- Able to understand the technical consequences of a business decision as well as the business consequences of a technical decision.
Flexible : Capable to handle change and adapt to new requests or situations and you are willing to travel abroad.
