POSITION SUMMARY

Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. This position will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. This position accounts for everything associated with a complete construction project, from the beginning phases of construction to the finalized completion of the project.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead the planning and implementation of project

* Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables

* Define project tasks and resource requirements

* Develop full scale project plans

* Assemble and coordinate project staff

* Manage project budget

* Manage project resource allocation

* Plan and schedule project timelines

* Track project deliverables using appropriate tools

* Provide direction and support to project team

* Quality assurance

* Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders

* Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions

* Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs

* Project evaluations and assessment of results

* Ability to motivate and hold associates accountable

Project Planning

* Identify project stakeholders and determine stakeholders needs and expectations

* Prioritize demands

* Establish clear set of project goals

* Produce detailed project schedule and sequence activities to meet delivery dates

* Determine type, quantity and quality of resources required

* Allocate resources and establish resource schedule

* Determine budget and create financial plan

* Define quality expectations and targets

* Identify techniques for quality control and develop quality plan

* Map risks, identify contingency actions and develop risk plan

* Clarify completion criteria for each deliverable and develop acceptance plan

* Develop communication strategy with stakeholders and establish communication plan

* Identify external supplies required and develop procurement plan

* Assemble project team

Project Execution

* Implement project plans to build deliverables

* Monitor and control project deliverables

* Manage timelines

* Manage costs

* Identify and manage risks

* Assure and control quality

* Suggest and implement modifications to project scope, deliverables, timelines and resources

* Track and monitor procurement

* Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders

* Support and direct project team

Project Closure

* Ensure project completion criteria have been met

* Obtain stakeholder approval for final deliverables

* Present final project report

* Handover project documentation

* Release project resources

* Conduct project review and evaluate performance against defined project goals

* Perform other related duties as required and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree in business, a related field, or the equivalent experience

* 5 years of experience in project management in a related industry

* Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management

* Knowledge of project management techniques and tools

* Direct work experience in project management capacity

* Proven experience in change management

* Proficient in project management software

* Excellent analytical, problem solving, process improvement, communication, and organizational abilities

* Able to deal with a variety of people and situations in a positive, open-minded, and results oriented manner

* Detail, results, and team oriented as well as professional under stress

* Strong analytical skills including a good understanding of the budgeting process, cost control, price and profit

* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, etc.)

* Good problem solving, negotiation and communication skills

* Ethical and trustworthy

* Valid driver's license

* Ability to travel up to 5% of the time

* Basic knowledge of State of Wisconsin petroleum regulations

* Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations

* Knowledge and enforcement of safety policies and good practices
