Logistics, Transportation and Parking (LTP) has an opening for a temporary Data Entry Specialist to assist in the complex and highly responsible operation and maintenance of multiple database operating systems used to manage parking. The position has significant interaction with service personnel and reports to the Database Manager.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, challenging environment, performing a wide range of duties with accuracy and attention to detail, and to utilize database and other resources effectively.

* This is a 40 hour/week temporary position for a period of 6-9 months.*


* Monitor systems to verify proper operation.

* Identify system problems and initiate corrective actions.

* Dispatch field service technicians when necessary.

* Perform extensive database clean-up activities by updating, deleting and archiving customer database records.

* Maintain documentation and generate revenue and other systems reports.

* Complete scheduled database uploads.

* Assist the Database Manager to update policies and procedures for systems operation and maintenance.

* Assist in the testing and evaluation of software updates.

* Update LED signboard messages and schedule sign displays.

* Maintain an events calendar and manage gates related to special events.

Required Qualifications*

The successful candidate must possess or demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

* An Associate's Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Specific, relevant experience in database operations/maintenance

* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

* The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)

* The ability to keyboard with speed and accuracy
