We are seeking to hire a Technical Marketing Engineer (Mobility) to join our Global Services team based in Andover, MA. This position requires extensive travel.

The Technical Marketing Engineer (Mobility) will impact the organization by technically promoting the company's wireless products and assisting customers with maximizing mobile network experience to achieve business goals. The ideal candidate will support 4G LTE-EPC core/access services and indoor/outdoor small cells.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Travels to customer sites to deliver technical demonstrations, solutions and hands-on support to satisfy customer requirements.

* Perform pre- and post-sales activity, and present Casa Systems' innovative technologies to its current and prospective customers in person and by phone.

* Travels to customer sites to assist in the lab qualification of Casa Systems' solutions.

* Serve as a Mobility subject matter expert.

* Understands customer requirements, and works with the R&D team to provide appropriate responses.

* Develops HLD/LLD documents based on the customer specific design requirements.

* Develops test plan documents and executes acceptance tests at customer premises.

* Perform analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems.

* Perform analysis of highly complex network designs.

* Build simulated networks in test labs to resolve highly complex problems and compatibility issues.

* Lead project design, setup, presentation and customer workshop.

* Assist customer with deployment and strategy of highly complex tools and related Network Management Systems.

* Meet customer-critical deadlines for product content delivery.

* Support successful trial execution through managing system integration with customer's back-end 3G and LTE network elements.

* Manage and operate internal and 3rd party simulation tools to support customer trials. Collect Wireshark traces to root cause network issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or Telecommunication or equivalent discipline. Advanced degree strongly preferred.

* 5-7 years relevant experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment.

* Able and willing to travel on short notice to meet the demands of the business.

* Hands-on experience working on LTE Radio Access Network; small cell experience a plus.

* In addition to RAN experience, design/implementation experience working on 3G/4G mobile packet core is desirable.

* Expert level knowledge in following areas: IP internetworking, LAN Switching, IP Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).

* Experience with protocol analyzers, test tools such as XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, TEMS.

* Strong knowledge in LTE Air Interface, PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC and PDCP layers

* Experience in RF performance analysis and troubleshooting RF issues is a major plus.

* Excellent knowledge of LTE Small Cell and associated mobile packet core network technologies such as H(e)NB-GW, SeGW, ePDG, MME, SGW and PGW.

* Excellent knowledge of security protocols and authentication (WISPr, EAP-AKA, EAP-TTLS/SIM, 802.1x, AAA, RADIUS, Diameter)

* Experienced in Interoperability Testing (IOT) with customer vendors for S1MME interface.

* Knowledge of IPSec and IKE protocols is a plus.

* Beneficial for the candidate to have knowledge of ETSI MANO with prior experience in integrating virtual software with orchestration solutions.

* Knowledge of subscriber management subsystems including but not limited to PCRF, HSS, OCS/OFCS functions.

* Experienced in System Acceptance Testing: Ensure functionality of all test cases, and troubleshoot and isolate any faults encountered.

* Hands on experience in OSS and SNMP protocol.

* Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.

* Must possess strong technical account management skills.

* In-depth knowledge of network management, network availability and capacity planning.

* Good Linux expertise.

* Creative problem solver, motivated, comfortable with challenging the status quo and rapidly responding to any customer issues.

* Work with peers in a fast-paced, high-impact environment to meet customer commitments.

* Understanding of key business challenges facing the mobile operator community.

* Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills.

* Strong network of contacts within the mobile operator community with North America.
