We have served children and adolescentsthrough our acute care and residential treatment programs inAnchorage since 1984, and we now also treat active duty servicemembers and veterans at the Chris Kyle Patriots Hospital.

We are currently searching for a Registered Nurse to join ourestablished team. The RN will serve as a Unit Nurse, beingresponsible for delivering quality general and psychiatric nursingcare to patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders. You willserve actively and constructively as a member of themulti-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization andprogram philosophy of care to ensure the safety and well-being ofeach patient.

Requirements This position requires a current Alaska RN license as well as eitheran Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. You must be ableto demonstrate sound leadership skills and have the ability toutilize these skills in organizing the activities and schedules formedical and/or non-medical tasks. Clinical and interpersonal skillsand the ability to be an exemplary role model to others, as well ashaving the ability to establish and maintain effective workingrelationships in a variety of clinical and support teams are a must.Confidentiality is a must for this position. In order to perform thisjob, knowledge of adolescent growth and development is essential aswell as skills in applying these concepts within a therapeutictreatment environment. Familiarity with management of therapeuticlevel systems is a plus.
