Job Description

The CustomerService Representative is a front-line representation of thecompany’s Core Values. They have the important task and criticalrole of setting the tone for how callers review our professionalism,plan knowledge and ability to deliver world class customer service.

Answer inboundcalls from members, member representatives, agent brokers, providers,health plan employees, ship employees and clients. Perform outboundcalls to resolve pended issues and COB surveys. Research caller’sinquiries using internal knowledge database, client website, routesand escalation process to resolve concerns. Clear and concisedocumentation of each task is required in TMGCALL.

Timely resolutionof self-pended calls. Alert supervisor and management to any knowntelephone, systems, policies and procedures or other obstaclesinterfering with customer satisfaction and delivery of timelyservice. Performs as an advocate by educating the caller of allnecessary information and alternatives as it relates to the call topromote one call resolution. Develop and maintain effective workingrelationships with internal and external customers. Adhere todepartment and corporate guidelines. Follow internal policy andprocedures. De-escalate situations in a professional, calm andcustomer focused manner. Utilize department best practices toincrease productivity, once call resolution and patient satisfaction.Other duties as assigned.

The CustomerService Representative is responsible for answering inbound callsin a timely manner within a call center environment.

They are requiredto complete research using provided resources to ensure accurate andquality service is being delivered as contracted with the clientwhile remaining within CMS guidelines and adhering to departmentinternal policies and procedures. Outbound calls are periodicallyconducted for surveys and resolution of outstanding issues.
