Whether you started from the product side and developed technical skills or started as a technical resource, you have a knack for the product side of the business. You possess the necessary technical product knowledge to drive strategic conversations about the product and enhance value to Equifax and its customers.

Equifax is seeking a Product Owner who is a master at bridging the desires of the customer and the capabilities of the technology, removing barriers to software development. You will be responsible for grooming the product backlog and have insight into technical requirements of individual stories thus creating a more efficient process.

What You'll Do

  • You are the single voice of the customer and stakeholders in the team
  • You will evangelize the product with the business and coordinating between senior business leaders and the product development team
  • You will define and accept requirements and create/refine the user stories and user acceptance tests and criteria
  • You will own and lead the team's backlog(s)
  • You will participate in backlog grooming and sprint commitments (as needed) to ensure that the right capabilities are developed
  • You will participate in planning activities for the Program Increment
  • You have in-depth knowledge of goals and desired objectives of the initiatives and features
  • You will drive value as a function of cost, time, functionality and quality
  • You will work with Architect(s) and Tech Lead(s) to identify non-functional requirements like infrastructure needs
  • You will plan and handle releases
  • You will work with Quality Assurance team member(s) to identify test cases for automated testing
  • You will coordinate with business customers to conduct product integration testing Key Responsibilities Preparation and Participation in PI Planning Program Backlog

Must Haves

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent job experience required
  • 8+ years' relevant job experience including leading Agile teams and processes.
  • You are skilled at removing roadblocks
  • You have experience delivering products using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • You possess a deep understanding of Network, Cloud or Data Centers
  • You have a knowledge of Systems Development and Agile Project Management lifecycles
  • You have experience with Product & Technology Roadmap development through influence of key business and technology partners to identify business priorities
  • You have excellent leadership and motivational skills
  • You possess a willingness to empower as well as encourage commitment and positive attitude in the team
  • You have an inquisitive and innovative mindset with a shown ability to recognize opportunities to create distinctive value
  • You can successfully evaluate workload to drive efficiency, and capacity-based planning

Extra Points for any of the Following

  • You have previous Development or Infrastructure experience
  • You've led analytical resources on projects and provided guidance in business development processes
  • You are experienced with SAAS based architectures
  • You have deep knowledge of Continuous Delivery (CD)
  • You apply a theoretical knowledge-base to work to achieve goals through own work
