Solutions Integration Testing Manager (20180166)

Lead and manage Solution Integration Testing (SIT) team(s) for GRD in AM region.SIT team is responsible for the End to End Solution test processes, running re-lease/hardening testing, Solution Integration Testing for the solutions components.SIT team collaborates very closely with SW/device test and development teams for maxi-mum operational efficiency.Main objective is to ensure quality for solutions components and solution offering. Further develop and maintain main knowhow center(s) for product and solution validation over L+G AM market offerings. Act as service center for solution E2E issues for other internal parties. Manage and own SIT activities for components released through NAM business.

SIT team leadership

* Establish and maintain SIT team(s), team charter and operational roadmap to serve business, product families and technologies represented

* Lead and manage the organization for Product release and Solution Integration Testing

* Coach region R&D engineers to assure high quality results with low test development and maintenance costs and low risk

* Define the metrics and drive the efficiency improvement for test processes

Test processes

* Responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of the SIT processes and tools

* Owner for test processes and operations for NAM based products

Testing responsibilities

* Release test planning, execution and reporting for system products

* Solution Integration testing, test planning and reporting for solution components

* Test requests planning, execution and reporting

* Solution validation for 3rd party products and components and interfaces

* Non-functional testing (security, performance, scalability, usability)

* Regression testing for solution components and E2E offering

* Strategy and planning for solution validation for new products based on market requirements and input from PM and General Test Strategy

* Test automation testing according the CI process in cooperation with test automation team

* Develop department processes, competence and infrastructure to match required quality, functionality and usability

Supporting development teams

* Support for the development teams for continuous integration and test automation framework and processes

* Monitor internal defect statistics in cooperation with test and development teams

Gridstream Programs

* Provide test plans according the Program Test strategy

Collaboration with other interest groups

* Collaborate with HW, FW and SW test teams for quality matters

* Collaborate with Platform teams for quality matters

* Collaborate with quality organization for process and quality topics

* Collaborate with Support Teams for failure analysis and required test improvements

* Collaborate with Product management and SAG for requirements validations needs

Required Skills

* Deep understanding of company domain: Energy measurement, communication medias, data collection and data management systems.

* Ability to apply engineering principles to end-to-end testing of solutions in different development phases.

Required Experience

* Technical University Degree in computer science, Electrical engineering or related field and multiple years of test development or product development experience.
