Business Change Lead - (Digital Communications)

Join the Modern Workplace team and help support important business enablement functions that keep our client’s organization running strong.  As a professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help deliver exceptional quality service to internal and external clients, win in the marketplace and support the organization’s growth and profitability.  This person is expected to gain, and maintain, a good understanding of the different areas of Modern Workplace, best practice within these and to challenge as well as support the functions they are working with to reduce risk and improve operational stability within our environment.  Responsible for the strategic direction of the business organization change.

The Business Change Lead will support the deployment of Modern Workplace and will work with the greater Modern Workplace team.

At a high level the role may be responsible for:
  • The adoption of the Modern Workplace services
  • Developing strategic communications and organization change direction
  • Knowledge and learning, communications and marketing, and training
  • Liaising with the other internal EY organizations
  • Launching and supporting change networks
  • Providing data analytics for key metrics
 
The Modern Workplace is agile, matrixed and fast paced. 

*Critical to role is to have prior experience with digital communications.  

Essential Functions of the Job:

The role requires someone to be able to:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Technology division and various countries to ensure program and business alignment.
  • Ensure the development and delivery of the project’s business change, training and communications plans promote the acceptance and usage of the services introduced in countries.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate Business Change artefacts to support the delivery of a deployment/enablement.
  • Work closely with the internal communications teams (global and local) to develop and manage the delivery of communications and learning for the new service specific to country requirements.
  • Provide support and guidance on best practice communications and business change impacts.
  • Identify business change impacts arising from introduction of new service and account for these in the project change plan.
  • Stand up change networks in order to accelerate adoption.
  • Responsible for marketing and communications.
  • Responsible for data analytics.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Versatile and adaptable player
 
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
  • Must be capable of understanding the nuances of Modern Workplace delivery and deployment across multiple service lines and geographies.
 
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
  • Prior experience with digital communications
  • Knowledge and experience of business change management approach and methodology
  • Understanding of project management methodology
  • Strong verbal and written skills including strong cross-cultural communication and the ability to draft effective communications (empathy with the end user, combined with an ability to draft ‘business ready’ documents and communications)
  • Ability to work credibly with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work with people in a variety of countries and time zones
  • Excellent people management skills

Job Requirements:

Education:
  • College degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or organizational change management.
Experience:
  • Prior experience working on an organizational change team with a proven track record of delivering results.
