Access Coordinator Physician Practice

Job Summary: The access coordinator serves as the dedicated liaison for access improvements and workflow education as it relates to access and outmigration at the local practice level. Works closely with LVPG EMR Operations and administrators to faciliatate implantations of access workflows and education. Recognizes and alerts opportunities for improvement and assists in determining countermeasures. Minimum Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent required. 3 years minimum experience in a ambulatory practice setting and or equivalent experience in scheduling and coordination of patient access. Knowledge and working use of medical terminology required. Excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to communicate metrics and data. The ability to work with interruptions and adapt to rapidly changing priorities. Exercise independent judgment. Advanced computer and typing skills. Exceptional organizational skills. Excellent service behaviors. Must be independent in the use of excel, access database, and basics of development of charts,graphs as requested. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree in business and or healthcare related field preferred. Licensure and Certifications: N/A
