Education:

Essential:

* High School Diploma or GED

Other information:

Less than one year experience in general security, however 1 year security experience preferred. Must possess effective communication and written and documentation skills. Must be able to perform all requirements and training of a security technician. Must be able to demonstrate familiarization of hospital locations and operations within 6 months of hire date. All facilities excluding PMG sites require the ability to drive a company owned vehicle. These locations must have a current New Mexico drivers license, and must be insurable by Presbyterian Healthcare Services

* SKILL-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and via telephone with members, employer groups, brokers, physicians, and physician office staff using strong dialogue and customer service competencies.

Summary:

Provide security for patients, employees, visitors and employees and all those who come in contact with PHS. Have a working knowledge of security equipment and systems as required. Perform hazard and risk surveillance in conjunction with fulfillment of security program execution.
