As a Intelligence Operations Specialist, GG-0132-12, your typical work assignments may include the following under supervision:

* Research, analyze, and produce intelligence data and information relative to the Agency's larger mission of combat support, Combatant Command (CCMD) support, technology development, arms control implementation, threat reduction, and Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) preparedness.

* Plan, organize, and conduct research on specific intelligence issues pertaining to Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) threats to US and allied nations and on issues within broadly defined and interrelated areas of analytical concern. Provide written input to reports being prepared for dissemination to the Agency's senior leadership and its personnel.

* Prepare briefings and written products for the Department, disseminating current information through various written and automated means. Participate in studies or reports of irregularities observed during the performance of mission personnel duties.

* This is a Drug Testing designated position. Must consent to and pass pre-employment drug testing and be subject to periodic random drug testing thereafter.

* Position is a (DCIPS) position in the Excepted Service under U.S.C. 1601


* OVERTIME: Frequent- Overtime or rotating shifts for extended periods during crisis and exercise situations may be required.


* PCS (Permanent Change of Station): Authorized


* TELEWORK ELIGIBILITY: This position is situational telework eligible

* Travel in the performance of temporary assignments may be required.

* Must be able to respond to short notice taskings, high priority projects, and complex crisis situations required.

* Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance. May be subject to random DoD counterintelligence scope polygraph if assigned to programs or duty locations that have such a requirement.

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Experience must be reflected in your resume.

Specialized experience required for this position is: Knowledge of activities associated with worldwide Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), counter proliferation and arms control. .Knowledge of Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction(CWMD) plans, programs, intelligence, doctrine, and policy. Knowledge of OSD, Joint Staff and Combatant Commands' and Interagency roles and overall missions in relation to the CWMD mission and functional responsibilities.
