What Your Job Will Be Like

We are seeking an individual to join our high-energy team as a HR Training Support.

On any given you day, you may be called on to:

* Work independently on time sensitive assignments, projects and programs.

* Collaboratively work with and assist others to support logistical coordination of courses.

* Establish/support process improvement efforts in an attempt to gain efficiencies while improving services.

* Think on your feet and engage in proactive and immediate problem solving while maintaining a professional demeanor.

* Manage and coordinate a significant amount of detailed plans/timing for course logistical coordination.

* Have a real passion for serving others married with a deep conviction for personal responsibility and accountability in planning and executing what needs to be done.

Qualifications We Require

* High school diploma plus 5 or more years of directly related experience.

Qualifications We Desire

* Bachelor's degree.

* 7 years of relevant experience.

* Experience in managing procurement contracts.

* Experience in logistical training coordination.

* Detailed and service oriented.

* Ability to work in teams and independently.

* Active DOE/DOD security clearance.

Position Information

This Limited Term Employee (LTE) position is a temporary position for one year term, which may be renewed at Sandia's discretion up to a maximum of seven years.

Individuals in LTE positions may bid on regular Sandia positions as internal candidates, and in some cases may be converted to regular career positions during their term if warranted by ongoing operational needs, continuing availability of funds, and satisfactory job performance.

Technical and Compliance Training Department, 3521, within the Human Resources Center, has corporate responsibility for technical and compliance education and training products & services to support Laboratories' customer business objectives. Additionally, the department provides consulting services to Sandians to improve their job and organizational performance.

Security Clearance

Position requires a Department of Energy (DOE)-granted L-level security clearance.

Sandia is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre-employment drug testing, and a pre-employment background review that includes personal reference checks, law enforcement record and credit checks, and employment and education verifications. Applicants for employment must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Applicants offered employment with Sandia are subject to a federal background investigation to meet the requirements for access to classified information or matter if the duties of the position require a DOE security clearance.
