JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing all financial functions including: accounting, payroll, financial operations, property management, insurance coverage, legal requirements and donor records. Responsible for Grant Management by keeping track of all expenditures and reporting as required. Also responsible for preparation of budgets for grant submissions.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

* Thorough knowledge of budget management and accounting practices, processes and procedures in a NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION

* Strong communication skills - both verbal & written

* Four year degree in accounting, finance or business administration from accredited college or university

* A minimum of five years' work experience managing the accounting functions in a non-profit agency
