GENERAL SUMMARY: Ensures the integrity of Global sales information across multiple system platforms. Specifically, this position is responsible for the timely and accurate resolution of sales discrepancies for over 3,500 retail and online stores. Performs a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures. Reconciles appropriate accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform audits of store sales which includes the timely and accurate resolution of multiple error types

* Establish and maintain effective lines of communication among internal and external business partners, store management personnel and Loss Prevention

* Responsible for weekly and month-end tasks

* Preparation of multiple journal entries

* Perform various ad-hoc reporting and support special projects

* Take responsibility for and engage manager in managing career growth and skills development

* Identify and implement effective processes and procedures for accomplishing work while delivering quality service

* Find alternative ways to achieve objectives when faced with obstacles

* Continually search for methods to increase customer satisfaction

* Accountable for delivering excellent service to all customers internal and external

* Maintain integrity and demonstrate respect. Possess ownership for the achievement of our commitments, including collaboration with partners and innovation for the future

ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS: Interacts frequently with multiple internal and external customers, including but not limited to: Store Managers, Loss Prevention, Field Management, Inventory, Payroll, and other members of the Revenue Accounting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Knowledge, skills & abilities:

* Good understanding of basic accounting principles

* Highly organized with a focused attention to detail

* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and work effectively under critical deadlines

* Ability to act cooperatively within a team environment

* Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as being able to effectively communicate with upper management

* Strong analytical skills having the ability to demonstrate the end of end process related to core functions

* Beginning MS Excel, MS Access and MS Word skills

2) Minimum educational level:

* High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred

* Retail experience preferred

3) Experience:

* Minimum 1-year basic accounting principles experience
