Senior Associate, Corporate Development

  • Network with brokers on potential acquisition opportunities
  • Perform detailed financial analysis on potential acquisitions, which includes historical income statement review and trend analysis, key metrics review, and balance sheet analysis
  • Build financial models to access the strategic value of acquisition opportunities and establish valuation ranges for pricing negotiations
  • Analyze the operational strengths and weaknesses of acquisition opportunities – show strong initiative in learning the industry and understanding the business
  • Drive the due diligence process on deals under letter of intent – manage data requests with brokers/sellers, ensure appropriate dissemination of data to internal/external resource, and communicate findings to team
  • Prepare and finalize presentation materials for new deal opportunities; prepare deal materials for board approval and strategy discussions
  • Support market analysis workflows and integrate into screening process
  • Work closely with Jordan operations, sales, HR and finance team members to monitor current Jordan operations and financial performance, along with key initiatives and projects, that will play a critical role in evaluating our growth strategy and “fit” with potential acquisitions
  • Assist with pre-closing integration planning by providing Jordan divisional leadership with needed seller information and effectively communicate the strengths and weaknesses of the “to-be” acquired operation
  • Work with integration team members post-closing to ensure appropriate hand off of information

Education/Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree required,
  2. Minimum 5 years progressive experience within financial planning, investment banking, and/or consulting
  3. Healthcare experience preferred
  4. Strong quantitative background and analytical skills; advanced modeling skills; general understanding of acquisition process
  5. Experience with C-level executives; advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
