The US Airways Application Process

For the sake of this application guide, we applied for a position as a customer service representative. Your experience may vary a little bit depending on the type of position that you're applying for.

At the beginning of the application, you will be asked to provide some basic personal information including your name, phone number, email address, and home address.

Once you provide your personal information, you will be required to take a brief (about 15 question) questionnaire. This questionnaire asks you basic questions about your employment history, education, computer skills, and ability to perform the basic job functions. Read each question very carefully, and make sure to answer honestly. There are no trick questions here.

After you complete the questionnaire, you will have the opportunity to upload your resume and cover letter. If you don't have a resume prepared, their system will help you build one by asking specific questions about your education and work history. Regardless, you should make sure that your cover letter and resume are customized for the position that you're applying for. Tailoring your documentation for the position is one of the best ways to demonstrate legitimate interest in the position.

Background check and drug test

During the application process, you will be required to consent to a pre-employment background check and trust. Any employment offer that you receive will be contingent upon passing both of these tests.

How to Get Updates on Your US Airways Application

US Airways does not provide automatic application updates. If you have already applied for a position and would like to know if you are still being considered, you will need to contact the company directly.
