The Sprint Application Process

For the sake of this application guide, we applied for a job as a Network Engineer. Your application experience may vary a little bit depending on the type of position that you're applying for.

Before you can apply for a job at Sprint, you will need to create an account. To register, you will need to provide your name, email address, phone number, current employer, and job title. Once you're registered, the application will begin.

Over the course of the application, you will be asked to provide many different pieces of personal information including your name, address, phone number, employment history, salary requirements, and education. We highly recommend that you take the time to provide all of the information you will need before you begin the application. Not only will preparing help you get through the process more quickly, it will also ensure that you don't have to take a break during the process to go hunt down some documentation you might need.

After you enter your personal information, you will need to upload your resume and cover letter. While neither is technically required (their system will let you through without them), you should act as if they are. An application without a resume and cover letter attached will look incomplete, and Sprint will have very little information to go on when deciding if they should bring you in for an interview. Also, make sure that you customize your cover letter and resume for the position that you are applying for. Not only will this help you demonstrate your interest in the position, it will also help you demonstrate how your past experiences have directly prepared you for the job that you're applying for.

Background check and drug test

During the Sprint application process, you will need to consent to a pre-employment drug test and background check. Any employment offer that you receive will be contingent upon passing both tests.
