Apply Online
If you prefer, you can apply directly through Dunkin' Donuts by visiting their hiring website. There is one very nice thing about applying through the Dunkin' Donuts site, and it's that you can apply to many different locations at the same time. As far as we can tell, there is no limit -- you can apply to every hiring store within a 15 mile radius at the same time. This is obviously a huge time-saver, and something you will want to take advantage of if there are multiple stores you're interested in working at.
Paper Application
If you're the type of person who prefers to fill out a paper application and hand it directly to the hiring manager, then you're in luck: Dunkin' Donuts is one of the few employers who still accepts paper applications. While there are some printable application forms available on the internet, we highly recommend going into the store to pick one up -- you never can tell how old an application form might be, and you want to make sure that you're filling one out that the store can accept. Plus, you just might be able to make a great personal connection that will help you get the job.

The Dunkin Donuts Job Applications Process

Overview
Before you can start the online application process, you will need to enter your zip code and search for stores in your area. Not all Dunkin' Donuts stores are listed, so if your local store doesn't show up, you will need to visit the store to fill out a paper application in person. One nice thing about the Dunkin Donuts job applications process is that you're able to apply to many different stores at the same time. Unfortunately, the application is quite long, and will likely take you an hour or more to complete. The first section of the application is designed to collect your personal information: your name, address, phone number, employment history, education, and scheduling preferences. You cannot proceed beyond this section without entering at least one employment record (though you can list volunteer experience if that's all you have). You will also be asked to provide three professional references (no relatives), who Dunkin' Donuts can contact to ask about you. At the end of the section, you will have the opportunity to upload your resume and cover letter. Uploading them isn't required, but it can be very helpful. So if you have them, be sure to have them ready.
Assessment
After you complete the first section, you will be required to take an assessment. The assessment is two parts, and it's designed to help Dunkin' Donuts determine if you would be a good fit for their organization.
Assessment part 1
The first section is timed (10 minutes), and it consists of a series of math and logic problems. Some of the questions are difficult, and even if you move quickly, you will use up most (if not all) of the time allotted to you. Here is an example of a basic math question: "A box can hold 4 books. How many books can 5 boxes hold?" Here is an example of an analogy: "MULTITUDE is to CROWD as EMBANKMENT is to" And here is a slightly more complex word problem: "Sara worked 22 hours last week. Joan worked 4 hours less than Sara, and Erin worked half as many hours as Joan. How many hours did Sara, Joan, and Erin work last week?" As you can see, the degree of difficultly varies considerably from question to question. For that reason, we recommend that you answer the easiest questions first, and then go back to the questions that will take more of your time.
Assessment part 2
The second section of the assessment is not timed, and the questions here are designed to learn more about you as a person. There are five possible answers for each question, ranging form 'strongly disagree' to 'strongly agree.' To give you an idea of the questions you might be asked, here are a couple examples: "Coworkers would describe me as someone who follows the rules." And: "In order to make a decision at work, you have to compare every possible solution." As a general rule, you want to answer each question strongly. It's normally better to agree or disagree strongly than it is to be neutral, particularly when it comes to questions that ask about theft or work ethic. Dunkin' Donuts estimates that this application section will take you about 25 minutes, but it could take longer. There are 12 pages of assessment questions to read through and answer, so it's a pretty intensive and exhausting process.
Background check
During the application process, you must consent to a consumer report if you wish to continue. This report will check things like your driver record, criminal record, credit score, and employment history. If you lie on any part of your application, this report will likely uncover that. So be honest throughout.
