As part of the marketing team, the Marketing Content Manager will play an important role in developing and managing Love Funding's content marketing and inbound sales strategy to build our web presence and brand. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with all departments, as well as customers, to produce highly targeted articles and videos for the purpose of educating current and future customers about our industry and establishing Love Funding as a thought leader on HUD finance.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

* Create and optimize a variety of video and editorial content for multiple channels, including the website, social media and industry publications

* Work cross-functionally with all Love Funding departments and key customers to develop engaging content representative of the entire loan process

* Establish Love Funding as a thought leader in the HUD finance industry through a highly targeted and professional database of educational content

* Develop standards and best practices for high performing content by type/key objective/channel

* Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience

* Ensure content produced is in line with overall marketing strategies to meet/exceed the needs of the business

* Create a workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, repurposing and retiring content

* Pitch new ideas and strategies to further marketing and company goals

* Provide reporting on the success of content campaigns to inform future strategy

* Deliver materials on time and on budget

* Provide support in maintaining an active presence on company's social media platforms

Qualifications:

* BA/BS in journalism/digital media with an emphasis on writing, editing, interviewing, research, storytelling and editorial planning skills

* 3 – 5 years of experience in content marketing, social media marketing, editorial development preferred

* Experience developing and producing high performing content in video, digital, social preferred

* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as video recording and editing skills

* Strong execution, organization and time management skills, able to work with a high degree of autonomy

* Strong relationship building skills, ability to work in a team environment and across the organization

* A demonstrated comfort with web analytics tools and the ability to translate data into meaningful reports

* Travel required
