Program Analyst

YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
The position requires 5+ equivalent years of experience in program, acquisition, or technical analysis. Specific experience with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or other government organization is highly desired.  A Master’s Degree may count for additional years of experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/RESPONSIBILITIES
Individuals will perform a wide variety of program related analyses for the Federal Aviation Administration in support of program acquisition and operational systems evaluation.  Specifically, the individuals will directly support program manager(s) and group manager(s) providing:

  • Participating and/or leading status and important meetings for all programs in the manager’s portfolio
  • Track portfolio programs going through AMS
  • Portfolio level
    • Support to CIT, CIP, RPDs, PMO PMRs, JRCs, etc.
    • Resource/staffing tracking
    • Task Orders, burn rates, Periods of Performance (PoPs)
    • Schedule tracking
    • Action tracking
    • Hot topics sheet

In addition to the analytical tasks, individuals will support the Federal Aviation Administration with program management through business case development, contract management, and overall program support.

Individuals will be required to contribute effectively to internal working groups through oral and written communication and cooperative working relationships.

Crucial to this position is the willingness to adapt to client needs and learn new skills/tools when needed.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree required. A Master’s Degree is a plus.

SKILLS REQUIRED
High level of proficiency with MS Office products.  Strong analytical background and good interpersonal skills are needed.

TRAVEL
Must be available for occasional travel.

SECURITY REQUIREMENT
Must be a US citizen or a legal resident for three of the past five years.

Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance.
