Overview

This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the Senior Vice President, Human Resources and supporting the HR generalist functions in the corporate office. These duties include but are not limited to recruiting, training, employee relations and general administration.

Duties & Responsibilities

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

* Provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President, Human Resources

* Assist with all recruitment efforts including:

* Draft and update job postings and job descriptions

* Source candidates using resume database search engines and the Application Tracking System - iCIMS

* Conduct telephone screenings and references checks

* Prepare candidate summaries to be presented to the HR team for consideration

* Schedule and arrange interviews

* Support employment process, including coordination of pre-employment background checks, offer letters, new hire processing, onboarding/orientation, etc.

* Assist in facilitating the onboarding and training program

* Assist with the Center for Performance and Development program

* Assist with ensuring Employee Handbooks and Policies and Procedures remain updated

* Coordinate the Predictive Index tool for all affiliate companies using it as both a recruitment and management development tool

* Actively participate in all employment related activities and engage in cross functional projects

* Assist with support of corporate communication systems including managing company mobile wireless program

* Manage record keeping process including creating and maintaining employee files

* Help coordinate and plan company events

* Support HR team with general administrative duties including coordinating meetings and conferences and preparing written communication.

Qualifications & Skills

JOB REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS/ABILITIES):

* Demonstrated knowledge in all generalist areas of HR

* Excellent attention to detail and strong follow-up

* Possession of strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task

* Ability to develop and maintain positive, professional relationships

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Excellent Microsoft Office skills

* Must be able to maintain confidential information

EXPERIENCE:

* 2 years of related experience in a human resources position

* Prior experience in an administrative and/ or recruiting position preferred

EDUCATION / LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience
