Motion Imagery (MI) or Full Motion Video (FMV) Instructor with Podium Experience

BAE Systems, Global Analysis is seeking a Persistent Surveillance (PS) Subject Matter Expert to develop, maintain, and deliver basic, intermediate, and advanced Motion Imagery (MI) exploitation training classes to government agencies and the Department of Defense (DoD). The successful candidate will work as part of a team of contract and government motion imagery analysis instructors to combine the applications of Multi-Int Analysis and Archive System (MAAS) with other intelligence sources. The instructor will teach the application of MI techniques and instruct on the theory, techniques, procedures, and sensors used to produce digital and hardcopy MI intelligence products. Instructor duties include development and revision of MI courses, conduct on-podium instruction of developed courseware, management of students and classroom work and activities. The candidate will also help create new course curriculum in conjunction with government analysts, management, and members of the Intelligence Community (IC). The SME/Instructor supports assessments of the organization's challenges using this specialized expertise; contributes to the execution of a project or task plan; and helps assess the impact of industry trends, policy or standard methodologies. Activities are conducted in support of the project team's objectives while working closely with senior specialists or task leads.

Minimum Education And Experience
5 years work experience or equivalent experience related to the Required Skills Section

Required Skills And Education

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience working with MI/FMV
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an on-podium trainer/instructor for class sizes up to 20 personnel.

  • Proven working knowledge of agencies within the IC and the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the principle applications of Multi-Int Analysis and Archive System (MAAS).
  • Proven excellent writing and briefing skills with the ability to convey course materials clearly and concisely.
  • Experience with MS Office and associated software tools, e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access, HTML.

    • Provide support to the responsible Government Point of Contact in defining and delivering the specified academic program that provides the full spectrum of training and education necessary to meet requirements, from primer courses to advanced education.

    • Engage with stakeholders and community of experts as necessary through participation in sensor system and/or product development/improvement working groups, attendance at community, academic, and industry technical symposiums, and support to concept of operations development in order to maintain currency in the extended research and development being conducted

    * Knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) as well as knowledge in the development and implementation of course materials, and how to make those course materials ISD compliant.
