Position Summary

Accountable for the following

* Participating in or leading teams that review or design security mechanisms that protect company resources and associated services.

* Plan and execute projects to deploy security-oriented tools or services to manage the company resources and associated products.

Duties

* Collaborate with IT and business/product teams to design or validate architectures to host services in cloud environments. Ensure Information security principles and safeguards are embedded from the design to operational phases.

* Work with corporate IT teams to secure SaaS services providing internal productivity resources

* Insure security designs and principles can be properly operationalized and handed over appropriate support teams

* Advocate for strong Identity management practices across the estate; supporting audit and policy requirements as well as best practices

* Develop security standards and processes that can be deployed and managed in an automated fashion for the various projects assigned

Competencies

* Technical

* 5+ years' experience in the Information Security space; 3+ in an engineering role

* Strong understanding and practical experience with cloud technologies; deployment and management with a focus towards the following: AWS, Azure, VMware including NSX, Office 365 / EM+S

* Thorough understanding of security requirements, best practice and execution in various cloud implementation scenarios: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS

* Comfortable working with scripting, automation and orchestration technologies: Cloud Formation, Lambda, Azure runbooks, PowerShell, Ruby, Python

* Strong understanding of federated identity strategies and products: SAML/oAUTH, Azure AD, Ping

* Comfortable working with SIEM solutions, integrating data streams and extracting pertinent security information

* Strong understanding of the technology, concepts and deployment of DLP capabilities in on-premises and cloud environments

* Understanding of DevOps and Agile development methodologies

* Understanding of network technologies: routing and switching, IDS/IDP, next-gen firewalls, WAF, WAN topologies

* Understanding of software defined infrastructure (SDI) technologies as well as SDN

* Knowledge of cloud networking architecture, cloud operations, security, automation and orchestration

* Must have strong knowledge of TCP/IP and network administration/protocols - , SSL/TLS, CIFS, HTTP/S, DHCP, SMTP, LDAP/S, NFS, SNMP and DNS

* Good understanding of Information Security frameworks, associated controls, and the necessity for application in a hybrid environment. For example: ISO 27000 series, PCI/DSS, NIST

* Personal

* Able to successfully manage multiple priorities which come from a fast moving environment

* Comfortable taking ownership for work, identifying the need for action and driving projects from inception to completion

* Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a confident and articulate presenter to various audiences at all levels in the organization

* Strong documentation skills; ability to develop and present ideas clearly and concisely

* Strong experience of working within high performing and dynamic teams.

* Able to positively engage with, and contribute to, the wider global team
