Responsibilities

The Human Resources Coordinator will support Human Resources in general HR matters and on strategic plans to ensure proactive and effective development of internal and external communications. This position will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve business results and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsible for the development and implementation of internal and external communications to support business initiatives. These may include managing social media outlets, newsletter postings, company-wide webinars originating from HR and Training departments.

* Act as a change management coordinator to HR and Training projects, initiatives. Ensure resources are current and effective.

* Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions through the HR systems, email or phone. Questions will pertain to recruitment, benefits, payroll, compensation, training and policies. Inform appropriate HR Staff of any matters that require intervention and or action.

* Act as a resource for employees to ensure their understanding and compliance with HR policies, procedures and regulations. Keep management advised of potential problem areas and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate.

* Coordinates and manages department meetings, events and activities to include employee onboarding, Diversity & Inclusion, CRA, HR/Training meetings and retreats, Employee Appreciation.

* In collaboration with the HR team, coordinate and organize office operations by setting standards, monitoring compliance with those standards and designing policies for office operations.

* Administer an effective survey system to better align strategic HR initiatives with business needs.

* Provides support for materials of a highly confidential nature related to and as designated by the HR Director or manager. Assist the HR Director in special programs and assignments.

* Recommend, develop and document process improvements and solutions from established practices and processes.

* Actively participate in special projects such as with mergers and acquisitions.

* Maintain organizational charts utilizing Visio.

* Administer HR/Training intranet site. Manage bank intranet site redesign as needed.

* Manage the tuition reimbursement process.

* Provides general administrative and office support to the HR and Training department as needed. Acts as back up to administrative assistants in the department.

Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in related field highly desired.

* A minimum of two (2) years of prior related Human Resources or Marketing experience specializing in effective communications required

* Prior office management experience a plus

* Strong understanding of HR processes and data is highly desired

* Demonstrated ability maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times

* Proficiency in Microsoft office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) required

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, managing deadlines and timely deliverables

* Proven ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
