Follow the conference discussion stream on Twitter. Most events will advertise a hashtag

You can follow hashtags for events without subscribing to Twitter by using Twitter’s Search Engine to search for the designated hashtag.

You can also add to the conversation yourself by posting Twitter Updates (tweets) using the hashtag.
