Front-End Engineer

It's an exciting time to be on the new Display Ad Products team! We are looking for top Front-end engineers to build our platform for cutting-edge ad experiences that integrate video, social media and e-commerce functionality across platforms (like web browsers, Internet TVs, mobile phones and tablets) and across mediums (rich-media, video, social, etc). We are currently in growth phase, releasing new products every month, expanding our ad products internationally and across platforms and growing quickly with a lot of career growth and learning opportunities. We partner with large sponsors and advertisers to create tasteful and compelling interactive ads and branding experiences.

We are looking for experienced Front-end engineers with a proven track record of building compelling user experiences and can look at the larger picture, and contribute creative solutions to the many opportunities that the Display Advertising business has to offer.

Basic Qualifications

* 2+ years working with HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general Web 2.0 techniques

* 2+ years developing rich user interfaces using 3rd party frameworks

* 2+ years developing web applications for mobile platforms

* Knowledge of usability principles, cross-browser compatibility, and HTML document architecture

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers

* Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

* Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project

* Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.

* Experience improving web latency in complex large scale deployments.

* Experience using or building A/B testing systems

* Experience with online advertising technologies and infrastructures.

* Ability to convert a design document into a working user interface with no loss in fidelity

* Work well in teams, respecting and welcoming ideas from partners, business stakeholders, and technical experts
