Nurse Practitioner - (NP) Locum Tenens

A North Texas hospital is seeking a locum tenens coverage for a Nurse Practitioner at their outpatient clinic for Gastroenterology. Schedule is 8a-5p, Monday through Friday, beginning as soon as soon as possible until a permanent provider begins. G.I. experience required. Contact a Staff Care representative for more details!

A nurse practitioner (NP)(locum tenens) is a registered nurse (RN) with specialization in a specific area of medicine, such as family medicine or pediatrics. A nurse practitioner has completed a master’s program in nursing and has earned board certification in a chosen specialty. An NP is able to provide a wide range of medical services, from conducting physical examinations and taking down patient history to performing more complex procedures such as bone marrow biopsies.
