We are seeking a Video Production Specialist for the production of primarily video projects. As a Video Production Specialist, you will be part of a new initiative with our organization that promotes innovation and creativity. In this fast paced environment, you will help create short creative videos both in a studio and on location. Your ability to produce professional media productions from start to finish will be instrumental to your success. You will lead a 3-person team (Video Production Specialist, Videographer and Lighting/Audio Technician) working to bring script concepts to life. You will lead script development, develop storyboards, manage the pre-production process, and work with the customer for approval. This role will be in charge of set design and construction, on and off-site shooting, and post production (to include green screen technology and integration with 3D background environments).

The primarily job location is in the northern Virginia area, with occasional travel in and outside of the United States.

Tasks for the Video Production Specialist include, but are not limited to the following:

* Supervise all aspects of the video creation process from planning and script development to final product edits

* Ingest, organize, edit and color correct footage to create compelling video content

* Storyboard, plan and facilitate studio and on-location video production, including planning, logistics, filming, editing, sound mixing, graphic design and output compression

* Work in collaboration with the sponsor and production team to produce a variety of video products for mission use

* Transfer media and video footage from cameras and other storage media to non-linear editing systems

* Pack, transport, set up, shoot, and tear down camera, lighting, audio and required set equipment for productions within and outside of the production studio

* Oversee operation of studio and on-location setup

* Perform video post-production, including audio adjustment and color correction

* Must be a US Citizen

* Must be willilng and able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance and pass a polygraph

* Have a deep understanding of concept development, motion and storytelling (very important)

* Must have a minimum of 3 years in video production / editing / shooting

* Cohesive experience shooting, lighting and editing video

* Must have an expert knowledge of: Adobe CC 2017 including: After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator

* Must have Microsoft Office suite experience

* Must have a strong knowledge of video codecs and output formats

* Must have knowledge of the following:

* 3D applications, models and rendering with After Effects

* Digital Asset Management (DAM) for video assets

* Windows platforms

* Must have an ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently

* Must have a solid organizational and communication skills

* Requires travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations

Desired Qualifications

* Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph is desired. Lower security clearance levels will be considered
