Job Description

We have a rewarding and lucrative Sales Executive, Onsite Solutions position that will act as the primary sales and support resource for the Event Direct Sales, Account Managers, TPP Team and CrowdCompass Direct Sales for our Onsite Solutions (OSS) product.

Your main responsibilities will be demonstrating our Onsite Solutions products and negotiating/closing deals with Fortune 2000 companies. You will carry a new-booked business quota. You will be required to prospect, gain proficiency in the solution, present effectively, demonstrate solution-selling skills, effectively manage your pre-sales account executive to ensure prospects turn into actual customers, and work together with Event Cloud Sales and Account Executives to drive new Onsite Solutions business from both prospects and our existing customer base.

What You Will Be Doing

* Develop and call on new prospects within the Fortune 2000 companies in an effort to meet and exceed individual and department revenue expectations

* Collaborate with team to present Cvent's Onsite Solutions product to new prospects and existing Cvent customers to ensure strategic OSS new business and renewals.

* Gather customer requirements, develop and deliver product demonstrations, and work with sales team to develop pricing recommendations.

* Create a vision of the value of Cvent's OSS and how the solution can solve the client's needs by articulating technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.

* Demonstrate Cvent's Onsite Solutions to clients and prospects.

* Pricing out Cvent's Onsite Solutions to meet customer requirements.

* Identify all technical issues that go beyond the specification of our product, and assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

* Contribute to sales effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.

* Assist with functional and technical elements of Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).

* Identify product enhancement requirements, and convey these requirements to Product Management and Client Service teams.

* Providing sales with technical and logistical support as necessary.

* Work with Sales and Client Service teams to ensure complete customer satisfaction, and collaborate with the Onsite Solutions project manager and team as necessary.

* Represent the Onsite Solutions team at field events such as trade-shows & industry events.

* Provide training and technical information to customers and sales staff, as needed.

* Log applicable Salesforce activities and develop/present Salesforce reports as necessary.

* Travel throughout your team's territories as needed to support the sales team.

What You Need for this Position

* Bachelor's degree required

* Minimum 5+ years of proven sales or customer facing (with revenue generation) experience in the software industry

* Excel at developing relationships over the phone

* Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment

* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

* Must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include cold calling, consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function

* Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership demonstrating the ability to function independently, but must also be able to contribute to team initiatives

* Strong business acumen, ethics and high integrity

* Experience using sales automation products such as Salesforce.com and web collaboration tools like WebEx

* Industry experience and/or interest in one or more of the following areas is highly preferred: SaaS, mobile apps, analytics, and entertainment
